This notice explains what information is processed through the contact form, guestbook and optional use of Google Analytics on mustafaonderatik.com, and why.
Data controller and contact
Mustafa Önder Atik is the data controller for this personal website. You can send privacy-related requests to iletisim@mustafaonderatik.com.
Information processed and its purpose
- The contact form processes your name, email address and message so that your enquiry can be answered. The message is delivered to the website mailbox.
- The guestbook processes your name, email address, optional city/country and message so that the submission can be reviewed, you can be contacted if necessary and, with your consent, your name, location and message can be published. Your email address is never published.
- Session data, submission time and one-way technical identifiers may be used to protect the forms from abuse.
Legal basis, sharing and retention
Information is processed on the basis of the consent you provide on the form and to respond to your request. It may be shared only with providers needed to operate the hosting, database and email services, or with competent authorities where required by law.
Contact messages are not stored in the website database; they remain in the mailbox only as long as necessary. Guestbook submissions may be retained while review and publication remain relevant. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. Technical anti-abuse records are used only for security and are regularly cleared.
Cookies and analytics
Essential technical cookies may be used for form security and administration sessions. Google Analytics is used only to measure visitor statistics and is activated only when the visitor selects “Accept”. Analytics is not loaded when “Reject” is selected. It is not used for advertising, remarketing or advertising personalisation.
If accepted, visited pages, approximate location, browser and device information may be processed by Google Analytics, and _ga and _ga_KCJ7JQXWV6 cookies may be created. Data may be processed outside Türkiye by Google LLC. Cookie preferences can be changed at any time through the “Cookie settings” button in the lower-left corner. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of applicable data protection law, you may ask whether your personal data are being processed, request access or correction, ask for deletion or restriction and object to processing by writing to the email address above.
